Singapore will be the first country with public transport without drivers!
Singapore is apparently looking for other systems of public transport buses. Two of these autonomous buses will be tested out and they will transport up to 80 passengers.

Singapore is expected to be offered to public transport, buses without driver. They are micro buses full but about 12 meters long. The vehicles will operate on the Singapore Jurong West region, where the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is located.


Speaking to Channel NewsAsia, vice president of research Professor Lam Khin Yong said: "Current efforts all over the world have been focused on cars. So, this autonomous buses trial is the first of its kind in Singapore that will be aimed at improving road safety, reduce vehicle traffic and pollution mitigation.
