China has a project to build a hypersonic plane that will be able to travel space.
Science and Technology Corporation in China Streamline (CATSC) is investing its
talent and technology more advanced to build the next generation of hybrid
aircraft.
The
plane will use a combination of devices that allow it to move up from an
airport directly and in orbit.
Horizontal
flight accomplished by a turbojet engine followed by a ramjet device that gives
the plane a strong upward push. Once he reaches hypersonic speed he manages to
fly in space near the atmosphere that is 20 to 100 kilometers above sea level.
Then he can use a rocket-motor installed in to enter orbit.
Like
his prototype like the US, the Chinese version can be used more than one time
being raised and lowered by space only after some minor repairs. This use will
lower the costs of the study program and will allow Chinese astronauts go into
Earth orbit more frequently.
