It
is rumored that Lumia brand will stop producing by the end of 2016 that means
it should have ended up producing and modelling new phones. The number of
devices Lumia phone is not very big in the market, as Microsoft has slowed any
more time selling them.
This
may be a death for WINDOWS 10 MOBILE but it’s not the case. Microsoft is making
about two major updates that will be ready in 2017 and will continue to produce
equipment to support this platform. Laura Butler, Director of Engineering in
Windows, in a post to its Twitter said the company was working on such a
project.
Lumia
was introduced in 2011 and it grew up under the shadow of Nokia until it was
acquired by Microsoft.
But
unfortunately, slow updates, support for small applications and the lack of
interesting equipment stopped Windows 10 to achieve something more.
Looks
like SURFACE PHONE is in its way to hit the market.
